Time: October 2007. Location: Maruia Springs, New Zealand.
First of all thanks everyone for your recent comments. I have been a bit under the weather lately and only really recovered about a week ago, so I have not had any energy to post new images for the past couple of weeks (the last series of images were scheduled posts). I think it was just a common cold followed by a more serious influenza although the swine flu was starting to become a bit of a concern as I have been working a fair bit with the public (including international tourists) in recent months. I'm rarely sick and I never go to the doctor because of a flu, but this time I had to in the end (at least according to those close to me) and the doctor actually prescribed the same medicin they have been treating the swine flu with.
Anyway, I'm back to normal so that's a relief. I will be catching up with my RSS feeds during this week.
This picture was taken after a small trek into the forest near Maruia Springs. We were not dissappointed with what we found and even from the distance we could feel the fresh water spray on our faces as a result of the sheer force of the waterfall.
